About Me

Above the Sky Holistic Massage is an independent practice owned by Danyelle Whitehead, Licensed Massage Therapist. I am trained in traditional massage therapy, Reiki, energy healing, reflexology, chakra balancing and other modalities. I take a fully-customized approach to my therapy sessions, ensuring my clients' needs are met. I am proud to have practiced for nearly 20 years, to be Texas state board certified for all listed services and nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
My private studio is located inside Strong On Health, a wellness center in Mansfield, TX at 305 Regency Parkway, Suite 501, Mansfield, TX 76063.
I also regularly contract with organizations to provide chair massage services for special events and as a wellness benefit to employees and staff.

Classic massage for relaxation and rejuvenation. Includes prenatal massage if requested in advance and 14 weeks into pregnancy.

sports/deep tissue massage
Therapeutic massage for musculoskeletal issues. Applies sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.
In Studio:

lymphatic
drainage

Massage to stimulate the natural drainage of the lymph, which helps to eliminate waste from the body. Pressure is customized to each client.
In Studio:
90 minutes only - 150.00
house calls
Appointments are available for me to travel to you for in-house massage after 7PM. I will travel up to one hour to your location and bring all equipment needed with me, with the exception of sheets.
Add 45.00 to each service for all house call appointments + 45.00 minimum service fee. Any valet or parking fees will be added to your total service fee.
Products and Equipment
My massage table, massage chair, equipment and tools are professional-grade. I regularly use a variety of natural creams, gels, balms and oils, depending on client needs and preferences.
I use pure, plant-based essential oils in an avocado, coconut or shea butter carrier oil. I will use a different type upon request. I may also employ bamboo sticks, silicone cups, and multiple bolsters for comfort and positioning (prenatal, breast, legs).
While I am certified in hot stone massage, this type of massage is only provided for house calls and I require that clients provide the stones .
Policies
All special requests must be made at the time of booking the appointment. All clients are required to complete a Client Intake Form and sign an Informed Consent and Waiver before services are provided.
I regularly spend 20-45 minutes prior to a service on intake, ensuring I know what your wellness concerns and goals are. Please allow for this time as it is very important to your holistic experience.
Sanitation Procedures
In addition to following the standard health protocols provided by the state of Texas for businesses re-opening and operating as massage establishments, we will continue to service clients with the cleaning and sanitation practices already in place, including allowing for extra time between clients for linen changes and full-room sanitation procedures.
To keep you as a client and me as your therapist safe and healthy, we now have a new health policy for all clients.
Special Events and Employee Benefit Services
I regularly work with local organizations to provide chair massage services for special events. I also contract with corporations to provide massage as a wellness benefit to their employees. Your team members will feel valued and appreciated and be healthier people overall - a creative way to reward and retain talent with a culture of recognition and wellness.
House Calls
House call appointments are a great option to fit your busy lifestyle and to fit your family and work schedules! They're also a great way to have a relaxing, pampering date night with your partner without having to leave the house or pay for a sitter.
Please note that I do not travel with sheets in order to ensure proper cleanliness. I request that clients provide one clean, flat sheet, one fitted sheet, one standard pillow case and one bath towel for house call appointments. While twin size is best, I can make any size work.
Hot stone or river rock massage is only provided for house call appointments. I do require that clients supply their own stones for this service.
Age Requirements
I regularly provide massage therapy for children (with a parent or legal guardian's permission) and adults of all ages. Pregnant clients must be 14 weeks into pregnancy for prenatal massage.
